This afternoon we met as a whole school for an ANZAC Service. The crosses have names of soldiers killed during the War who are from or link to the Maunu community.
Room 4 watching as the ceremony was about to start
Mr Bloor telling us about World War 1 and who the crosses represent.
Room 4 during the ceremony
There was the laying of a wreath, 2 poems read out and we sung the National Anthem.
Mr Lamb putting in the last cross of the un-named soldier.
Wreath laying ceremony
We had one minutes silence to remember the soldiers who went to war, and to think about those who didn't come home.
